Walden Surfboards is heading out on the road again

The 2009 Walden Surfboards summer tour kicks off this June. Walden will be visiting dealers along the East coast, pan handle and Texas. We are starting the trip in the North East so those dates are locked in but most are loose..depending on the surf. We plan on documenting our trip the entire way. Check back for updates on in store events.

Welcome Walden Lance Anderson!

Congratulations to Drew & Susan Anderson who welcomed "Walden Lance Anderson" 6lbs. 8oz. on May 8th 2008 we cannot believe he is 1 already. If the name sounds familiar, baby Walden was named in honor of his dad's lucky Walden Magic model and Steve Walden. Drew and Susan had to wait longer than planned to conceive, Drew got the wonderful news that Susan was expecting right after an epic day on his Walden magic model. The magic model brought a little magic to the Anderson family and we could not be happier!

Walden Surfboards "Strato-Flex" debut

This years "Sacred Craft" consumer show is almost over and already the buzz from our booth is the Walden "Strato-flex" board. Walden loves experimenting with new designs and technologies, the "Strato-Flex" is his newest project. The board is made up of 5 stringers, like a standard board the middle stringer runs the length of the board, the remaining four stringers are graduated and run about 2/3 -1/2 way down the board. This board has outrageous flex, as witnessed by the amazed people who watched Steve walk all over his board all day.
