The next stop on the Walden Surfboards USA tour is Long Island more specifically the Hamptons. Not a bad place to do business, not because of the big homes, big celebrities, great shopping and food..it's the local stoke. Get over the enormous wealth here and the Hampton's is actually exceptionally beautiful farmland, wetlands and coast..the people here love this place, respect it and feel honored to have such a pristine environment to surf in.

Our first stop was at Main Beach Surf & Sport 352 Montauk Highway in Wainscott. Main Beach is a surf shop for everyone, beginner, weekend surfer and the advanced surfer. They have an exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful staff that can walk you through their great boardroom on the bottom floor..softgoods on the ground level. Main Beach also sells Kayaks and Wakeboards. They offer the biggest rental program we have seen to date. Board experts Rick, Monty or owner Lars are always on hand and really help their customers find the right equipment.

Main Beach has a full line of Walden's including the Walden SUP range. These guys know SUP's, owner Lars is currently training for the Molokai channel 32 mile SUP paddle. Main beach also has a great selection of apparel, gear and local finds like sea glass jewelry for the girls from a Hampton's artisan. Main beach has a great mix under one very cool roof, the core goods along with hip beach essentials.
